Who We Are
Created in early 2021, STEMatic Leaders is led by a group of individuals across the world who are passionate about STEM. Our organization aims to encourage more youth to join the numerous fields of STEM by providing opportunities and resources to broaden their knowledge. From traditional lessons to interactive competitions, we offer a plethora of activities to make every student a leader in STEM.
Meet The Executive Team
Vaishvi Shah
Founder, President
Vaishvi is a twelfth grader from Calgary, Canada, who is appealed with the fast-paced world of STEM. Not only do these fields encourage and foster curiosity, but they also promote engaging, interdisciplinary experiments, which she is fascinated with. Vaishvi is particularly interested in software engineering and machine learning, with a desire to find innovation in computer science. She created this organization to allow youth to explore the subjects that she loves.
Mayuri Agarwal
Vice President
Mayuri is in twelfth grade and lives in Calgary, Canada. She is incredibly fascinated by many of the STEM-related concepts in our daily lives. Some of her specific interests include biotechnology as well as biomedical sciences. These two concepts are becoming increasingly important to our modernizing world. Mayuri hopes other youth can become more interested in such ideas through the STEMatic Leaders organization.
Arushi Chintakayala

Hello! My name is Arushi Chintakayala, and I am from Trenton, New Jersey. I play club soccer and run track and cross country. I love anime, manga, and any East Asian dramas. I am interested in majoring in Engineering while taking Pre-Med courses. I’m currently a senior and so happy to be a part of the STEMatic Leaders Board!

Sophia is a 17 year old high school student living in Norfolk, Virginia. Some of her hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, track and field, theater, and talking with friends. She loves to explore new topics and ideas. She has joined STEMatic Leaders to bridge the inequality gap within STEM, and provide STEM opportunities to underserved students who desperately need it. She wishes to make an impact on her community, and plans to major in Public Health through her undergraduate years.
Hello! My name is Sabit Ibtisam Anan, currently a Highschool Junior residing at Dhaka, Bangladesh. From an early age, I had developed a vehement love for tech, and leadership roles in many places channeled that passion for me. I have founded, co-founded and moderated several acclaimed projects and youth organizations. As a researcher, I have worked with Artificial Intelligence, IOT and DLT and will continue to do so. Writing about social, political and technological issues is also a passion of mine. Technology has always been a method of escapism for me, and I believe I can bring that same passion over at STEMatic Leaders.
Vivian Lei is a senior in NYC, USA. Although she is not very interested in STEM, Vivian sees the impact technology has in her day-to-day life and in communication. She wants to pursue journalism and media. This organization helps her explore her more professional skills, such as marketing and communication. In her spare time, she likes to skateboard, swim, and play handball.

Sunny Li

Hi I'm Sunny, a 17 year old Grade 12 student at Old Scona Academic in Edmonton. Ever since I can remember, I have been intrigued by all areas of STEM including math and computer science in particular. I am also passionate about youth involvement in STEM which is a mission I want to work towards with STEMatic Leaders.
Jeremy Wu

I'm Jeremy, I attend a school in California. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and making Discord bots. Other than that, I do data engineering and create integrations between platforms. I also enjoy problem-solving, but more specifically engineering. I hope I can instill more passion in youth for stem at STEMatics.
Vivek Bobby

Vivek is a twelfth-grade student from Calgary, Canada, who is fascinated with various aspects of STEM, especially engineering and computer science. He believes that STEM literacy is important for the modernizing world. He hopes to be able to grow this literacy through STEMatic Leaders and other endeavours. Outside of his work here, Vivek enjoys debating, coding, and playing violin!
Ahyan Kabir

Ahyan is a student from Calgary, Canada, with a strong passion for science. Particularly, he loves how STEM can develop strong connections through communal and worldwide involvement towards progressing humanity. Thus, Ahyan enjoys the social sciences as well as the experimental and explorational aspects of STEM and strives to provide fantastic opportunities so others can experience the joy he obtains through the exploration of STEM concepts.
Raelene Yang

Raelene is a twelfth-grader studying at Westmount Charter School. She’s passionate about math and science and is extremely fascinated by the world around her. She hopes to enter a career in medicine and develop a deeper understanding of human biology after graduation. Raelene is excited to be a part of the STEMatic Leaders and their mission.

Ramih is a twelfth-grade student from Calgary, Canada. She is very intrigued by the world of STEM and has been interested in becoming more involved with things in her community. STEMatic Leaders provides an opportunity for her to get engaged with STEM-related activities. She is looking forward to helping STEMatic leaders interest youth in STEM.
